Refund policy
Product-specific disclosures
These pages describe the audited Studio product, not every feature present in experimental code. Google sign-in and cloud-draft synchronization are implemented. Paddle checkout is currently restricted to Sandbox/Test Mode. Optional providers run only when configured and requested. Operator identity, the working support mailbox, production retention settings and supplier permissions still require confirmation before paid launch.
Summary and priority of rights
This is Map Animation's proposed commercial refund policy for Paddle subscriptions. The ordinary request window is three days after the initial subscription purchase. Consumption of a paid allowance makes the initial order ineligible under this commercial policy; renewal orders are also excluded. These conditions do not override mandatory consumer rights, remedies for defective or misdescribed services, or Paddle's applicable refund policy and decisions.
Initial paid purchase and the three-day window
Our proposed additional commercial policy is a request within 72 hours of the initial paid subscription purchase, provided no paid allowance supplied by that charge was consumed. A zero-value sandbox or free-trial transaction is not itself an actual payment. The treatment of the first charge following a trial must be disclosed and confirmed before live billing; it must not silently be treated as both the start of a refund window and an automatically excluded renewal. Until confirmed, no live checkout should rely on this draft to deny a refund.
Used allowances and renewal orders
We do not offer refunds for used paid allowances, and we do not offer refunds on subscription renewals under our ordinary commercial policy. This includes a request based only on forgetting to cancel or not using the subscription during a renewal period. No pro-rata refund or conversion of unused allowances into cash is promised by that policy. These exclusions remain subject to the rights and Paddle exceptions stated on this page.
Consumer rights, trials and renewal exceptions
The no-used-allowance and no-renewal conditions describe only our proposed additional commercial policy. They do not override applicable withdrawal rights, remedies for defective or misdescribed services, or Paddle's decisions. Some consumer rights can arise after a free trial or an annual renewal. Starting to use digital content does not by itself establish a legally valid waiver. Consult the Paddle policy applicable to your transaction; local rights may provide a longer period than three days.
Faults, duplicate charges and unauthorized payments
If a material technical problem prevents you from accessing a purchased feature, a charge was duplicated, the service was materially not as described or you believe a payment was unauthorized, report it promptly. Include enough information to investigate. Such claims are not automatically refused under the ordinary three-day or no-renewal conditions; applicable law and Paddle's procedures govern available remedies.
How to request a refund
Once the support mailbox is active, email support@map-animation.com using your account or purchase email if possible. Include your order or transaction reference, the purchase date and a short explanation. For a technical issue, relevant error details can help; a recording or screenshot should not contain sensitive information. You may also use Paddle's buyer support and the support or receipt links in its transaction email. Do not provide passwords or full card numbers.
How requests and refunds are handled
There is no automatic self-service refund or paid-allowance eligibility engine verified in the current application. The API cost ledger is not a record of consumed purchased credits, and a video export alone does not establish non-refundability. Current checkout is sandbox-only and does not charge real money. For a future Paddle purchase, use the receipt/support links or contact the operational support channel with the order reference and reason. Paddle determines and processes transaction refunds under its applicable terms; do not send passwords or full card numbers.
Cancellation is separate
Cancel through the subscription-management link in your Paddle receipt or the enabled billing interface to prevent future renewal. Keep the confirmation. Cancellation does not automatically refund a previous charge, and deleting browser data or ceasing to use the product does not cancel a subscription. If cancellation controls fail, contact support or Paddle promptly and retain evidence of the attempt. Any access remaining after cancellation follows the applicable subscription terms.
Cancellation and access after a refund
Cancel through Paddle's management portal or the receipt link to stop future renewal and retain the confirmation. Deleting browser data, deleting a cloud draft or not using the product does not cancel billing. Cancellation does not automatically refund earlier charges. A refund may affect the associated subscription access under the transaction terms, but the current sandbox implementation has not verified automated access removal from refund events. We do not promise that a request instantly refunds money, cancels a subscription or deletes unrelated projects.
Draft status and contact
The operator has selected a China-registered individually owned business structure, Paddle subscriptions and the commercial rules above. The registered business name and address, operational support mailbox and final checkout compatibility still require verification. This policy must be finalized and displayed before accepting payments. The intended email is support@map-animation.com. Paddle's buyer support is available through paddle.net.
